ATV Rider Killed In Sunday Accident

HEMET, CA – A rider was ejected from an all-terrain vehicle and died Sunday afternoon in an unincorporated area of Hemet, officials said.

Firefighters responded to the accident report at 3:39 p.m. on the 43000 block of Cactus Valley Road, said Tawny Cabral of the Riverside County Fire Department.

The victim, who was not identified, was thrown from the ATV and died at the scene, she said. No other vehicles were involved, and the California Highway Patrol took over the investigation.
