Double Menifee Murder Suspect On The Run, 'Armed And Dangerous': Cops

MENIFEE, CA — Riverside County sheriff's officials are looking Tuesday for a man suspected of gunning down two others at a home in Menifee. Sheriff's officials say they were called to the 25000 block of Waldon Road around 11:59 p.m. Sunday for a call of "unknown trouble." When they got there, the walked into a crime scene.
"Upon arrival deputies located two deceased Hispanic male adults," sheriff's Sgt. Jeff Buompensiero said. "Both sustained gunshot injuries that caused their deaths."
Investigators have since identified the suspected killer. He's Jesus Sanchez Ponce, 39, and is from Mecca, according to Buompensiero.

"Ponce should be considered armed and dangerous," the sergeant said.
Ponce was last spotted driving brown 2007 GMC Sierra pick-up truck with California license number 8H85193.

Sheriff's officials emphasized that Ponce should not be approached. Anyone with information was asked to contact the Central Homicide Unit at (951) 393-3528 or call 911.
The victims have not yet been identified.
