Explosion At Menifee Home Caused By Butane Honey Oil Lab
The explosion was reported in the 24000 block of Ridgemoor Road.
MENIFEE, CA — An explosion that caused extensive damage to a Menifee home and left one person with serious burns was caused by a butane honey oil lab, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
The explosion was reported Sunday around 11:52 a.m. in the 24000 block of Ridgemoor Road. When deputies arrived on scene, they found a male suffering from "major burns," according to the sheriff's department. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Deputies obtained a search warrant, which led to the discovery of BHO lab equipment, cannabis, and finished BHO at the home, according to the sheriff's department.
