Hemet Man, Boy Killed In Multi-Car Crash On Ramona Expressway: CHP
The crash, which led to the death of an adult and a juvenile inside a Nissan Versa, is still under investigation.

HEMET, CA – California Highway Patrol responded to a deadly three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Ramona Expressway and Lincoln Avenue on Tuesday evening, where two people lost their lives.
Shortly before 6 p.m., an 18-year-old Hemet woman was driving a Nissan Rogue northbound within the left turn lane of Lincoln Avenue, approaching the intersection with Ramona Expressway, according to CHP Officer Rick Palomera's report. At the same time, a 41-year-old Hemet man with a juvenile in his Nissan Versa was eastbound on Ramona Expressway, approaching the intersection with Lincoln Avenue.
"For reasons still under investigation, the two vehicles collided at the intersection," he said. "The impact caused the Nissan Versa to
spin out of control in a counterclockwise direction into the westbound lanes of Ramona Expressway, where it was struck by a 34-year-old Hemet woman driving a Ford Mustang Mach-E."
The crash fatally injured both the Nissan Versa’s driver and a male juvenile passenger, who were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators believe all occupants of the Nissan Versa were
properly restrained at the time of the crash.
"Both the driver and passenger of the Nissan Rogue, and the driver of the Ford Mustang Mach-E, were transported to Riverside University Health System for injuries ranging from minor to moderate," Palomera said. "It is currently unknown if alcohol or drugs contributed to the crash, and speed was not considered a factor."
Anyone with information related to the incident is encouraged to contact the CHP San Gorgonio Pass Area office. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Coroner’s Bureau is handling the
deaths under case numbers 2026-04358 and 2026-04359.
