A search was also conducted at Guerrero Valenzuela's home, where "additional evidence" was found, according to police.

Investigators allege the duo was communicating with kids through social media platforms.

"The Menifee Police Department strongly encourages parents to actively monitor their children’s social media use and online interactions," the law enforcement agency urged.

Both defendants are being held in county jails — Ocegueda at Southwest Detention Center and Guerrero Valenzuela at Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility. Ocegueda is due to appear in court on April 29, and Guerrero Valenzuela is scheduled to appear the following day.
