Murrieta Man Suspected In Armed Robberies Across Southwest RivCo
Christopher May, 47, was arrested Monday in connection with the alleged armed robberies at stores in Lake Elsinore, Murrieta and Wildomar.

SOUTHWEST RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A Murrieta man suspected in nine armed robberies at convenience stores in Lake Elsinore, Murrieta and Wildomar has been arrested, the sheriff's department announced.
Christopher May, 47, was taken into custody around 5:30 p.m. Monday at Clinton Keith and McElwain roads by the Murrieta Police Department following a joint investigation by the department and sheriff's deputies.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, a search warrant was served at May's home where evidence was discovered linking him to the robberies.

May allegedly used a handgun in each of the robberies, the sheriff's department reported.
May was booked into Murrieta's Cois Byrd Detention Center on suspicion of using a firearm in the commission of a crime and second-degree robbery. He was released Tuesday on $375,000 bail and is due in court May 13.
