Murrieta Mesa High School Plans 13th Annual 'Share The Harvest' Dinner
Approximately 2,000 meals will be served in the high school program, and donations are needed. Here's how to help and how to attend!
MURRIETA, CA — Murrieta Mesa students and families are giving back this Thanksgiving Holiday with a tradition that is 13 years in the making.
The "Share the Harvest Thanksgiving Dinner and Fall Festival" is coming to the high school once again in advance of the Thanksgiving holiday, and benefitting the Murrieta Valley Unified School District.
All are invited to the event which includes a meal and a Thanksgiving giveaway box for each family starting at noon until 4 p.m. on Nov. 19 at Murrieta Mesa High School located at 24801 Monroe Avenue.

Along with dinner, there will be games, activities, face painting and arts and crafts for the children.
"Everyone is invited to attend and we will be serving turkey with stuffing, green beans, corn, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, rolls, drinks and dessert."

Families in need can receive a Thanksgiving Meal Box giveaway with a frozen turkey and all the fixings. Limit one per household and addresses will be validated, event organizers said.
"Mesa is accepting donations," a spokesperson wrote on Facebook. They are looking for perishable items including frozen turkeys and pies.
If you care to donate to the program those items may be dropped off during the week of Nov. 14.
Non-perishable items such as canned vegetables, stuffing, gravy and mashed potatoes may be dropped off at any time during school hours.
