Trio Allegedly In Possession Of Heroin, Meth, 39 Pairs Of Designer Glasses Arrested

The threesome are Hemet residents and were arrested on Murrieta Hot Springs Road. Police are attempting to find out who owns the glasses.

MURRIETA, CA -- Three Hemet residents allegedly in possession of heroin, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and 39 pairs of designer glasses with price tags attached were arrested Monday, according to the Murrieta Police Department.

Police responded at 9 p.m. to a call of a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot on the 40000 block of Murrieta Hot Springs Road, police said.

Officers contacted the trio inside and, after a records check revealed probation violations on two of the occupants and a subsequent vehicle search, arrested Sean McConnell, 25, Desiree Amparano, 27, and Ivan Escareno, 36, the department said.

McConnell, on probation for robbery, was arrested on suspicion of controlled substance possession and violation of probation. Amparano was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, plus possession of a controlled substance in jail. Escareno, on post-release community supervision, was arrested for suspected controlled substance and paraphernalia possession, police said.

All three subjects were booked into the Southwest Detention Center.

The eyeglasses, including some sunglasses, found inside the vehicle were forwarded to the Detective Bureau for follow-up investigation and owner identification, police said.
