NAPA COUNTY, CA — Six people — including a Napa vape shop employee — were arrested Wednesday when Napa police officers, Napa County probation officers and Napa Special Investigations Bureau detectives conducted a warrant sweep.

"Numerous residences were checked for subjects who are on active Napa County probation, and who have outstanding arrest warrants issued by the Napa Superior Court," said NSIB Lt. Rick Greenberg. "Five subjects were arrested and booked into the Napa County Jail for their outstanding arrest warrants."

Additionally, an employee of a Napa vape shop was arrested for a second time, the lieutenant said.

Bailey Cooper Polk, 20, of Suisun, was initially arrested March 14 on suspicion of selling cannabis and butane honey oil wax to minors and on suspicion of conspiracy to commit a crime, Greenberg said.

That arrest was the same day a search warrant was served at Napa Smoke N Vape, 1700 Imola Ave. in Napa following a months-long investigation by NSIB.

"Polk was released from custody by the Napa Superior Court on March 22, 2019," Greenberg said. "Part of Polk's condition of release was he is to be monitored by Napa County Adult Probation and ordered to stay 100 yards away from any vape shop businesses."

According to Greenberg, during the warrant sweep operation Wednesday, NSIB detectives drove by Napa Smoke N Vape and saw Polk standing near the front door of the business.

Polk was booked back into Napa County jail on suspicion of violating the conditions of his release, which is a felony charge, the lieutenant said.

NSIB investigates both drug trafficking and human trafficking in Napa County, and community members are urged to call NSIB at 707-253-4458 with tips, Greenberg said, noting that callers can remain confidential and/or anonymous.
