Adventist Medical Center St. Helena Remains Closed: Glass Fire
Residents who need acute medical care are asked to seek alternate solutions until the facility is operational —which may take several weeks.
ST. HELENA, CA — Adventist Medical Center in St. Helena has been closed since the Glass Fire broke out and remains closed until further notice, the Napa County Office of Emergency Services advised Tuesday.
"The facility is not prepared to receive patients at this time," Napa County OES said. "Residents in need of acute medical care are asked to seek alternate solutions until the facility is operational."
Hospital staff members have been working diligently to open as soon as possible, but it may take several weeks before they are fully operational, the county said.

"If you are in need of acute medical care from a hospital, please seek an alternate solution. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please dial 911 for treatment and transport to the closest emergency department. If you are seeking ongoing care from the Adventist Health System, please coordinate with your healthcare provider."
Glass Fire Update From Adventist Health St. Helena
At the onset of the Glass Fire, Adventist St. Helena Medical Center said all patients were safely transferred to other hospitals, and surgeries and other hospital services were rescheduled.

Adventist Health St. Helena has since reopened its medical offices throughout the Napa Valley.

"On September 27, the lives of thousands of Napa and Sonoma county residents were changed forever. We are all feeling a deep sense of pain for our community and those affected by the tragic events caused by these fires.
"We are so proud of our Adventist Health St. Helena associates, who responded quickly and professionally to safely evacuate patients to other hospitals and facilities. Our associates are only part of the story. We are inspired by hundreds of examples of compassion exhibited by the entire community.
"As our courageous first responders continue to work tirelessly toward full containment of these fires, we thank them for their selfless heroism and unwavering commitment to protect our communities."
