American Idol Alum Coming to the Napa Valley

The Robert Mondavi Winery concert series continues this summer with American Idol Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips. The singer/songwriter from Georgia is sure to entertain with his original songs, acoustic guitar performances, and alternative rock sound.

Since his American Idol win in 2012, Phillips has release two albums, been nominated for American Music Awards New Artist of the Year, and toured with Matchbox Twenty and John Mayer. He just returned from his first solo tour in Canada.

Now in it‘s 46th year hosting live music in the vineyards, Robert Mondavi Winery has welcomed many legendary artists including Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Roberta Flack, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, Glen Campbell, Tony Bennett, and more recently, Olivia-Newton John, Boz Scaggs, Pat Benetar, Josh Groban, and Huey Lewis and the News.

The Robert Mondavi outdoor concert venue provides for lawn seating on a blanket or lawn chair. For those who prefer a regular chair, there is a small reserved seating area on the patio. Coolers and food are allowed to be brought in, or you can arrange for dinner seating in the vineyard before the concert.
