1. Urgent Alert: Costco Plant Contaminated With Crop-Killing Pest Sold In Napa County (patch.com) — Napa residents who recently bought grapevines at Costco are being urged to isolate their plants and contact inspectors after an invasive glassy-winged sharpshooter was found in shipments. County agricultural officials are racing to locate more than 150 missing vines that could spread Pierce’s disease, threatening local vineyards and other crops if the pest is not quickly contained.

2. New Napa Appointee Watching What Flies Overhead In Busy Wine Country Airspace (patch.com) — Napa County has tapped retired Navy aviator and new resident Milton Gaines to fill a key aviation expert seat on the Airport Land Use Commission, which oversees development around Napa County Airport. As air traffic and hangar demand grow with wine country tourism and major events, Gaines will help review projects near flight paths to balance safety, noise, and community impacts.

3. 4. Not Loud Concerts, a quieter alternative to the festival frenzy, heads to Napa (pressdemocrat.com) — A new run of Not Loud Concerts is coming to Napa Yard along the Napa River, offering shorter, quieter shows right in downtown Napa. Beginning June 7, themed “Summer Sessions” pair local band Dirty Cello with rotating guest acts, with $20 tickets, free nearby parking, and 7–9 p.m. performances designed as a relaxed alternative to big, noisy festivals.
