Another Fire In Lake County: Spring 2 Fire Break Outs
The fire started Monday at Pawnee Drive and New Long Valley Drive, according to Cal Fire.

LAKE COUNTY, CA — Another wildfire has broken out in Lake County. The "Spring 2 Fire" spread from 40 acres in size at about 6:15 p.m. Monday to 65 acres — but 25-percent contained — as of 7:30 p.m., according to Cal Fire. The blaze started at Pawnee Drive and New Long Valley Drive, northeast of Clearlake, officials said.
The 15,185-acre Pawnee Fire, which started June 23 at Pawnee Road and New Long Valley Road and destroyed 22 homes and other structures, was declared 100-percent contained Monday morning.
Tuesday morning, the Spring 2 Fire was 80 acres and 50-percent contained.
