Local Artist Scott Haycock
Join our master mobile maker Scott Haycock for this imaginative class.
Scott is a sculpture artist, engineer, and inventor-tinkerer who has created hanging mobile art for homes, businesses, and large atrium spaces all over the world. In this workshop students will learn the vocabulary and physics of the contemporary kinetic sculpture style pioneered by Alexander Calder.
Students will learn how to design, balance, and build abstract shapes into moving mobile sculptures, exploring the principles of weight, gravity, and balance. Join us for this lively and "moving" sculpture workshop.
