Calistoga Fire Destroys Building At Old Faithful Geyser of California
A fire burned 8 acres of vegetation, destroyed one building and damaged another at the Old Faithful Geyser of California tourist spot.

CALISTOGA - A fire burned 8 acres of vegetation, destroyed one building and damaged another at the Old Faithful Geyser of California tourist spot in Calistoga on Tuesday.
The fire at 1299 Tubbs Lane was reported at 4:50 p.m., according to Cal Fire Capt. Emily Smith.
The Napa County Fire Department, Angwin, Calistoga and St. Helena fire departments, California Highway Patrol, Napa County Sheriff's Office and PG&E also responded to the fire that caused an estimated $150,000 in damage, according to Cal Fire.

PG&E officials said more than 1,600 customers in the Calistoga area were without power because of downed power lines Tuesday.
Firefighters saved 11 homes from the blaze and Tubbs Lane between state Highways 29 and 128 was closed Tuesday. There were no evacuations or injuries, according to Cal Fire.

The fire was 100 percent contained by 7 p.m. and the cause is under investigation.
The property also includes a goat farm, gardens, picnic area, bocce courts and a geology museum.
