Doggone Fun Coming Up At Spring Lake Swimming Lagoon
Three "off-leash" weekends in September for dogs to swim and play.

News from Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation:
The Spring Lake Water Bark, an event that allows dogs to swim and play off-leash at the Spring Lake Swimming Lagoon, will take place over three weekends this September.
Water Barks will be held on Saturday and Sunday, September 12-13, 19-20 and 26-27 at Spring Lake Regional Park, 393 Violetti Rd. in Santa Rosa.

The event takes place from9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily except Saturday, September 19, when the Water Bark starts at noon due to the morning Viking Opener cross country meet.
“Our county parks are so welcoming to dogs, with more than 50 parks that accommodate dogs on leash and three off-leash dog parks,” explained Melissa Kelley, executive director of the Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation. “The Water Bark events are one more example of how we invite visitors to county parks to enjoy outdoor experiences with their canine companions.”

Entry fees for the Water Bark are $3 per dog for Sonoma County Regional Parks’ members and $5 per dog for non-members. Parking is free for members or $7 per vehicle for non-members.

Funds raised from the Water Bark events support the Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation, which funds projects in the county parks, including the construction of new trails to be enjoyed by dogs and their owners.
