The pilot was an 82-year old man, who was not injured.

The Federal Aviation Administration is expected to begin its investigation today of a plane crash at the Angwin Airport-Parrett Field in Angwin in Napa County Sunday afternoon.

The single-engine, fixed-wing Beechcraft BE35 went off the left side of the Runway 16 during its landing roll around 12:40 p.m., FAA spokesman Ian Gregor said today.

The plane came to rest 200 feet west of the runway, and the pilot, the only person on board, was not injured, Gregor said.
