Napa County Roadway Reopened At Scene Of Fire

BREAKING: A fire Monday afternoon closed Soda Canyon Road, the Napa County Sheriff's Office advised.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — UPDATE: Authorities have reopened Soda Canyon Road near the site of a fire. The roadway was closed at about 4:15 p.m. Monday but as of 4:51 p.m., was reopened, the Napa County Sheriff's Office said. Firefighters remained on scene, however, and caution was urged in the area, sheriff's officials said. No further information was immediately available about the fire.

ORIGINAL POST: A fire Monday afternoon on Soda Canyon Road prompted authorities to close the roadway until further notice. According to the Napa County Sheriff's Office, the blaze is in the 1100 block of Soda Canyon Road. At 4:17 p.m., sheriff's officials said firefighters were on scene and that the road would be closed until further notice.

California Highway Patrol, which was on scene providing traffic control, reported that Silverado Trail was closed at Soda Canyon Road.
