Residents will also decide four local measures, including a Napa County wildfire and open-space sales tax, alongside high-profile statewide offices and numerous statewide propositions that could affect taxes, housing and healthcare funding.

2. Napa 'superheroes' Trash Man and Litter Lady fight to keep the Vine Trail clean (napavalleyregister.com) — Two Napa residents who call themselves Trash Man and Litter Lady regularly bike the Vine Trail between Napa and Yountville, spending hours picking up everything from bottles to bags of clothing. They say litter has decreased since they started, and they're urging neighbors to pitch in, properly dispose of dog waste, and report larger trash piles so Napa's popular trail stays clean and welcoming.

3. Napa Valley College students pack town hall to discuss sexual violence prevention (pressdemocrat.com) — Napa Valley College students, faculty, and staff packed a town hall Thursday to discuss preventing sexual violence after the school confirmed it is investigating an alleged assault in campus housing. 4. Napa County Farm Bureau earns national recognition (yountvillesun.com) — Napa County Farm Bureau's continuing education series has earned national recognition, standing out as the only county Farm Bureau winner on the West Coast. Napa County approves Firetree micro-winery after two hearings (napavalleyregister.com) — Napa County has approved Firetree Family Vineyards' micro-winery on Old Sonoma Road after two short zoning hearings, allowing small-scale production and limited daily visitors.
