Fire-Recovery Funds Available To Napa Co. Residents

The deadline to apply for these housing grants for those hit by the October 2017 wildfires is mid-November.

NAPA COUNTY, CA – A second round of grant funding is available to Napa County residents whose ability to obtain, maintain, or restore housing was impacted by the 2017 wildfires, according to officials. The Golden State Finance Authority, in partnership with Rural County Representatives of California, is funding this grant opportunity.

Napa County previously distributed $248,500 in funds and has $130,000 available to distribute before the end of the calendar year.

Grant funds are available to cover costs related to securing or maintaining safe, sanitary and stable housing following the 2017 wildfires, county managers said.
