Funeral Fund Created For Former Napa Man Killed On Highway 29
Erik Woodward was born in Fremont and grew up in Pleasanton. He worked at The Restaurant at Wente Vineyards before moving to Napa.

PLEASANTON, CA — Friends of a former Pleasanton resident who was killed when he was struck by a car in Napa are raising money to help support his family and cover the costs of his funeral services. Erik Woodward, 25, was walking on the shoulder of state Highway 29 near the Napa Premium Outlets shopping center when he was hit by a 2001 GMC on April 13, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Woodward was born in Fremont and grew up in Pleasanton. He worked at The Restaurant at Wente Vineyards in Livermore until he moved to Napa.
