German and Canadian Orchestras Coming To Calistoga

Castello di Amorosa - Dario Sattui’s authentically-built 13th century Tuscan castle and winery - is pleased to welcome three internationally acclaimed orchestras for an evening of wine and music in the Castello’s acoustically-friendly courtyard on July 18, 2015. A wine tasting reception with cheese and charcuterie starts at 6:45 p.m.

The concert begins at 8:00 p.m. Castello di Amorosa is located at 4045 North St. Helena Highway in Calistoga (94515).

Guests will enjoy the welcoming reception in the Roman-inspired cross-vaulted tasting room. The reception includes a sampling of Italian cheeses and charcuterie paired with wines from Castello di Amorosa wines.

The concert will follow and features:

♦ New Edmonton Wind Sinfonia from Alberta, Canada, conducted by Raymond Baril

♦ University of Saskatchewan Wind Orchestra from Saskatchewan, Canada, conducted by Dr. Darrin Oehlerking

♦ Landesblasorchester Baden-Württemberg from Germany, conducted by Björn Bus

Tickets $59 for members of the Castello’s wine club and $79 for guests and the public.
