Man, 20, Arrested On Suspicion Of Killing His Mother Near Lake Berryessa
Fifty-four-year-old Danae Conkright was found shot to death at her home Monday in the Berryessa Highlands subdivision.

Napa County sheriff’s officials have arrested a 20-year-old man for the fatal shooting of his mother Monday at a residence in the Berryessa Highlands subdivision at Lake Berryessa, a sheriff’s captain said today.
Joseph Brook Conkright was booked just after midnight today into Napa County Jail on suspicion of killing 54-year-old Danae Conkright, Capt. Doug Pike said.
Sheriff’s officials recovered a firearm believed to be the murder weapon, Pike said.

The shooting happened at a home in the 200 block of Manzanita Lane near Rimock Drive.
A family member called the sheriff’s office at 3:28 p.m. Monday to report was initially called an accidental fatal shooting at the residence, Pike said.
