Memorial Day Weather Forecast For Napa Valley

Will the holiday weekend be shaded by cloudy skies or prime weather for outdoor gatherings?

NAPA VALLEY, CA — Memorial Day has finally arrived, promising a much-needed break, burger and trip to the beach to officially kick off the unofficial start of the summer. But will the weather in Napa Valley allow for an outdoor barbecue this weekend followed by a Memorial Day gathering Monday?

Leading up to the holiday, Napa Valley will see partly cloudy, breezy weather Friday and Saturday. A high temperature of 76 Friday afternoon in the Napa area will be followed by a high of 72 on Saturday, according to AccuWeather.

The clouds will clear and the temperatures will rise just in time for Memorial Day in Napa Valley. AccuWeather forecasts a high of 76 on Sunday and high of 80 on Monday.

Sunday and Monday will be pleasant with plenty of sunshine and breezy in the afternoon. Wind gusts up to 27 mph are forecast Monday afternoon; coupled with excessively dry, warm weather it will result in a high fire threat, AccuWeather forecasts.

Don’t forget to pack sunscreen. The ultraviolet index level for the Napa Valley area will sit at 11 Sunday and Monday, meaning a fair-skinned person could suffer a sunburn within minutes if not protected.
