SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, CA — Memorial Day 2022 is Monday, May 30 — a federal holiday honoring men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military.

And the preceding weekend now is celebrated as the unofficial kick-off to summer. And right in the holiday mix is National Hamburger Day, landing this year on Saturday, May 28.

For those in the SF Bay Area, that adds up to military discounts, tasty takeout, restaurant specials, BOGO and burger deals.
