Mountain Mike’s Pizza Opens 1st Napa Locale
The California-based pizzeria, known for crispy, curly pepperonis, features kids' area, regional wines & big-screen TVs at new restaurant.
NAPA, CA — The California-based Mountain Mike’s Pizza chain, that takes pride in its crispy, curly pepperoni pizza-toppers, recently opened its first site in Napa, at Trancas Street and Claremont Way near the post office.
“We’re proud to bring Mountain Mike’s Pizza to Napa,” said owner Sonu Chandi, CEO of Chandi Hospitality Group, which operates several North Bay sites. “Mountain Mike’s Pizza is known for not only serving up the best tasting, highest-quality pizza, including our Mountain-sized pizza with over 200 of our famous crispy, curly pepperonis, but also for its welcoming environment where families, friends and community of all ages can come together.”
The 3,100-square-foot restaurant, with 10 big-screen televisions and a kids' activity and arcade area, features a Napa menu including such regional wines as Corely Family Wines and Monticello Vineyards, and craft beers from Berryessa Brewing Co. and Fieldwork Brewing Co. With a private party room, the eatery also is available for team parties, family gatherings and group fundraising events, management said.

The new Napa Mountain Mike’s is at 1501 Trancas St., and can be reached by phone at 707-751-6100. Initial hours of operation are Wednesdays to Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for in-house dining, delivery or carry-out orders. Extended operating days and hours will be added in coming weeks, the company said.
Along with its pizzas, Mountain Mike's serves wings, garlic bread, salads and mozzarella sticks.

The first Mountain Mike’s Pizza opened in 1978 in Palo Alto, catering to families and sports fans, and now — some 40+ years later — operates 200 restaurants across California, Oregon, Nevada and Utah.
