Napa Burglary Suspect Arrested Thanks To Community Tips: Police
Jeffrey Stephenson is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail, according to Napa County jail records.

NAPA, CA — A man wanted on suspicion of burglarizing a Napa residence in August has been apprehended, according to the Napa Police Department. The suspect, Jeffrey Stephenson, 32, was identified and ultimately arrested with the help of Napa Valley Crime Stoppers and tips from the community, Napa police said in a Facebook post Monday.
Stephenson is accused of breaking into a home Aug. 16 on Big Ranch Road and remaining in the residence for about two or three hours until the homeowners came home and confronted him, police said.
After taking off northbound on Big Ranch Road, the suspect was not located.

Napa Police Department posted surveillance images of the unidentified suspect, and Napa Valley Crime Stoppers shared the post.
Within about three weeks' time, Stephenson was identified and a warrant was issued for his arrest, according to police.

In a Facebook post Monday, Napa police shared a photo of Stephenson being arrested.
Stephenson was booked into Napa County jail Monday afternoon, with bail set at $100,000, according to a jail booking report. Arrest charges accuse him of child endangerment, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, identity theft, possession of an assault weapon, receiving stolen property and carrying a concealed weapon, according to the booking report.
