Napa County Pimp Sentenced To 3 Years In Prison

NAPA COUNTY, CA -- A man convicted of pimping in Napa County will be sentenced to three years in prison early next year after he pleaded no contest to the crime, county prosecutors said. Martin McCall, 26, pleaded no contest before his trial started.
The Napa Special Investigations Bureau started investigating prostitution offered online in Napa County in November 2016. Prosecutors said an undercover detective answered an online advertisement on Nov. 10, 2016.
Later in the day McCall was arrested on suspicion of pimping and pandering-related offenses after he took a woman to meet with the detective for prostitution.

Prosecutors said detectives found more evidence that McCall was involved in sex trafficking on his cellphone. Detectives offered the woman victim services and resources. Prosecutors are pursuing three similar cases.
McCall posted $50,000 bail and will be back in court in January 2018 to receive the sentence.
