Napa Man Convicted OF Kidnapping, Criminal Threats, Spousal Abuse
"It took an immense amount of courage and strength...to make sure this man doesn't have the opportunity to continue to victimize women."

NAPA, CA — Napa County jurors recently convicted a Napa man of kidnapping, criminal threats and four counts of corporal injury of a spouse, Napa County District Attorney Allison Haley announced Monday in a news release.
At the conclusion of a seven-day trial, Anthony Frazier, 41, was also found guilty Nov. 20 of a sentence-enhancing allegation of great bodily injury.
Napa County Superior Court Judge Mark Boessenecker presided over the jury trial that stemmed from Frazier's abuse of his wife over several different dates in 2018.

According to the DA's Office: "The survivor endured multiple instances of abuse during her marriage to the defendant, including an occasion where he strangled her to the point of unconsciousness. She vigilantly documented her injuries with photographs and retained several text messages and emails from the defendant where he admitted to putting his hands on her. Despite not reporting initially, she found the courage to come forward to law enforcement after leaving the defendant and moving out of state to get away from him."
The DA's Office noted that at the time Frazier committed the crimes, he was on supervised parole after serving a nine-year prison sentence for forcible rape and assault with a deadly weapon.
