Napa PD Seeking 'Person of Interest' In Multiple Credit Card Thefts

The Napa Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in a number of credit card theft cases.

Using video surveillance footage, police have linked a man to multiple high-dollar credit card purchases made at retail outlets throughout the Bay Area, including Target, Walmart and Apple Stores.

The person of interest typically makes these purchases before the cards are reported stolen, according to police.

Security footage showing the person of interest has been posted to the Napa Police Department’s Facebook page, and is available online at https://www.facebook.com/NapaPD.

Anyone with information about the person of interest depicted in that video is asked to contact Detective Andy Hess at (707) 257-9507 or ahess@cityofnapa.org. Anonymous tips can be texted to Tip411, and tipsters are advised to include the word “707NPD.”

Napa police say that since 2011 they’ve investigated numerous credit card thefts, which are often stolen during daytime burglaries of lockers at health clubs.
