NAPA, CA — The Napa Police Department unveiled a new arm patch that will soon be worn on all uniforms.

The new design has the six-point silver star already worn by sworn members of the force, the Napa Police Department said Tuesday.

It also features the American flag as the backdrop for a tribute to Napa Valley's rich wine history: the iconic Grape Crusher statue seen when entering the city of Napa from the south.

Napa police thanked Bedford Investments for its permission to use the image of the Grape Crusher, which per this video was once the largest sculpture in America.

All members of the police department should be sporting the new design by Jan. 20, the department said.
