Napa Valley Film Festival Presents Sneak Preview Screenings of 'WOMAN IN GOLD' starring Helen Mirren and Ryan Reynolds

Screenings and VIP Reception at the Cameo Cinema kick off Napa Valley's Arts in April

News from the Napa Valley film Festival:

The Napa Valley Film Festival (NVFF) is pleased to present two exclusive sneak preview screenings of Woman In Gold, courtesy of The Weinstein Company (TWC), on Wednesday April 1 at the Cameo Cinema in St. Helena.

Starring Academy Award Winner Helen Mirren and Ryan Reynolds, Woman In Gold tells the compelling story of Maria Altmann, a Jewish refugee who takes on the government to recover the famous Gustav Klimt ‘Woman In Gold’ painting she believes rightfully belongs to her family.

The first screening will take place at 5:30pm and will be followed by a discussion about evolving film acquisition and distribution strategies with David Glasser, COO of The Weinstein Company.

Following the discussion, guests will enjoy a VIP After-Party with some of the Valley’s finest wines, cocktails by Meadowood’s Scott Beattie, and catering courtesy of Estate Events by Meadowood.

Admission is free for 2015 NVFF Patron Circle Members.

For all others, entry requires a $75 donation to benefit NVFF’s Student Education Programs. The $75 may be applied toward 2015 Patron Circle membership sign ups and renewals the evening of the event.

The second screening will unspool at 8:30pm. Doors open at 8:00pm. A $15 donation to benefit NVFF’s Student Education Programs includes a pre-screen wine tasting. Please visitnvff.org/woman-in-gold to RSVP to either screening.
