Playing on average more than 50 shows a year across Northern California and Nevada, Napa’s The Special Guests are one of the busiest and most popular party bands around, specializing in the Classic Rock, Motown, Blues and R&B hits that people just can’t get enough of anymore.

After core members Kevin Daniel (Guitar), Michelle Daniel (Vocals), Ernie Brown (Bass), and Kevin Galloway (Horns) met studio and live session aces Gary Randa (Drums) and Charlie Thompson (Piano) at a recent Napa Musicians Jam Event and a followup show to hundreds of music lovers at a local winery, their terrific musical chemistry has inspired all involved to continue the magic with a very special evening of all out excitement at City Winery Napa appearing as Gary Rand and Special Guests.

The Funk Pickles

The Wilson brothers grew up in a family that, before there was food on the table, there was music in the house! The three brothers started playing music together at a very early age. They’ve been exploring different musical genre’s throughout their lives and are now collaborating on music reflecting original, instrumentally structured songs influenced by Funk, Reggae, Americana and Ska, to name a few.

Born and raised in the beautiful Napa Valley, they’re really excited to be sharing their craft with the broad audience that makes up their home town, fresh off the line up at Bottlerock 2014, a heartfelt City Winery welcome to Funk Pickles!!
