5. 20-year-old motorcyclist dies after Highway 29 crash in American Canyon (pressdemocrat.com) — A 20-year-old Vallejo motorcyclist died after a Sunday crash on Highway 29, despite being rushed first to Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa and then to UC Davis Medical Center. The collision with a pickup in American Canyon snarled traffic for hours, and police say early findings show speed and alcohol were not factors as the investigation continues.
