Pear Southern Bistro to Close This Month

"It's been a great five years in Napa," restaurateur Rodney Worth said.

NAPA, CA — After five years in wine country, Bay Area restaurateur Rodney Worth will be closing the Pear Southern Bistro at the end of January. Worth made the announcement last week via social media.

“We have enjoyed the community, tourists and locals,” Worth said. “It's very sad that we are closing. We are in a critical time when our children need us to be home more.”

Worth and and his wife, Natalie, own seven popular Bay Area restaurants, including the The Peasant and The Pear in Danville, which holds a spot on a foodie bucket list of must-try Northern California restaurants.
