NAPA, CA — Another successful Napa Porchfest is in the record books. Held annually the last Sunday of July, the free one-day event features Napa musicians performing on the historic porches of Napa's Old Town.
The popular event runs from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and in addition to music every which way, Fuller Park turns into a food court of sorts, with snacks and beverages offered by a variety of food trucks and other vendors.
About 300 or so lucky spectators got some free cotton candy, courtesy of local resident Ned Roscoe. He said his parents gave him a cotton-candy maker when they moved away from Napa, so he came up with the idea of giving out free cotton candy. Adults and children alike loved the sweet treat.
