Power Outages Affect Thousands In Napa County
Some 2,300 customers initially had impacts to their electric service after a fault was detected on electrical equipment, PG&E said.
NAPA COUNTY, CA — Pacific Gas and Electric Company was working to replace a pole and restore power Tuesday following an outage that impacted more than 2,000 Napa County customers in the St. Helena and Angwin areas.
Around 5:20 a.m. Tuesday, some 2,300 customers initially had impacts to their electric service after a fault was detected on electrical equipment near Pratt Avenue and Silverado Trail, a PG&E spokesperson told Patch.
By 7:15 a.m., PG&E restored power to all but 83 customers in St. Helena, PG&E Spokesperson Deanna Contreras said.

At 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, crews were still determining the cause of the outage and will need to safely replace a power pole, Contreras said.
The goal is to have the pole replaced and all power restored by 6 p.m., she said.

"There will be traffic control in the area and we thank everyone for their patience," Contreras said.
