Smoke From Butte Co. Fire Visible In Napa, Sonoma, Solano
The rapidly-spreading Camp Fire began Thursday near Highway 70.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA –Smoke from the Camp Fire, burning today in Butte County, is visible in local areas, including Napa and Sonoma counties, due to "abnormally high winds," according to officials.
The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office and the Fairfield Fire Department reported this morning that there are no major fires in the region.
The smoke, however, may cause air-quality concerns, and residents should take precautions if needed, the Napa Police Department said, adding that anyone who spots local fire or smoke from a vegetation fire should call 911.
