Schools Are In Session Today Following 2-Day Quake-Related Closures

And as a reminder ... no more leaving rubble at the school site.

A Napa Valley Unified School bus driver travels down Jefferson Street early Wednesday morning to pick up students returning to school after Sunday’s 6.0 earthquake led to the closures of Napa Valley schools for two days.

A group of students arrive at Napa High School today for the beginning of classes after facilities were inspected and cleaned from the Napa quake.

And debris from damaged homes is piled in a parking lot in front of the Napa Valley Unified School District offices, adjacent to Napa High, where residents were able to dump damaged property for free.

Official since have closed that operation and moved it to city parks and parking lots to make way for students and staff returning to district offices and Napa High.
