Skatepark Closure Rescheduled In St. Helena
A weeklong maintenance project has been pushed back a week because of a scheduling conflict.
ST. HELENA, CA — The city of St. Helena's Skatepark remains open this week.
A weeklong maintenance project at the city of St. Helena's Skatepark was slated to start Monday morning, Dec. 6, but has been rescheduled for next week because the contractor had a scheduling conflict, the city said in a news release.
The city's Public Works Department will perform maintenance on the Skatepark between 8 a.m. and 5 p .m. daily starting Monday, Dec. 13, until the work is completed, which is to be expected to be Friday, Dec. 17.

For safety reasons, the Skatepark will remain closed for the duration of the maintenance project.
The purpose of the maintenance is to repair cracks and joints in the Skatepark by cleaning out the cracks and joints and filling them.

"Please be aware of onsite maintenance activities which may affect park accessibility within the surrounding vicinity of the skatepark," said Clayton Church, public works operations manager. "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
