Survey: American Canyon Seeks Public Input On Housing Priorities
Residents are asked to take a brief survey to help guide the city's priorities as it updates its Housing Element.
AMERICAN CANYON, CA— The City of American Canyon invites residents to take a short survey to guide the city's Housing Element priorities.
The Housing Element is part of the city's General Plan and addresses challenges and solutions to community housing needs. State law requires the city to update its Housing Element every eight years.
"State Law also requires the City to accommodate housing locations for all income groups from low and very low income to moderate and above, and policies to facilitate housing for residents with special housing needs," said Jen Kansanback, communications manager for the city of American Canyon.
