Tree Trimmer Injured On Napa Job Site: City Official
BREAKING: The worker was hospitalized after police reported that an "industrial accident" had occurred in a residential area of Napa.

NAPA, CA -- An employee of a tree trimming service was injured on the job while working on part of a neighborhood improvement project in Napa Tuesday afternoon, according to a city spokeswoman. "All we do know is that he was transported to Queen of the Valley Medical Center," spokeswoman Jaina French said.
Police said an "industrial accident" occurred in a residential area of Napa, prompting them to ask that people avoid Karen Drive between Sutro and Malone drives Tuesday afternoon.
The initial request was made in an online statement posted at 1:20 p.m. Another statement posted at 2:49 p.m. indicated that Karen Drive had been cleared.

Police referred any further questions to the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health.
Cal/OSHA spokesman Frank Polizzi confirmed that an incident had been reported at that location, but said that details were not yet available.
