#WraggFire Is A Wrap: 100% Contained As Of Wednesday Evening

The Wragg Fire that has burned more than 8,000 acres in Napa and Solano counties since late last month is 100 percent contained as of this evening, Cal Fire officials announced at 5:30 p.m.

The fire started on July 22 off state Highway 128 near Greaves Road near Lake Berryessa in Napa County. The cause is still under investigation.

The 8,051-acre fire destroyed two outbuildings and damaged four other outbuildings and a residence. There were 154 personnel still at the fire this morning, according to Cal Fire.

All roads in the area are open, Cal Fire officials said.

The largest current fire in Northern California is the 68,300-acre Rocky Fire in Lake, Colusa and Yolo counties, which was 20 percent contained as of this morning, according to Cal Fire. The fire has destroyed 39 residences and 52 outbuildings and damaged four other structures since it started July 29 east of Lower Lake in Lake County, Cal Fire officials said. Bay Area counties have sent strike teams to the fire.

There were 3,483 personnel fighting the fire as of this morning, according to Cal Fire. The cause is under investigation.
