"Yountville Live" Celebration Opens Thursday

Yountville's second annual food, wine and music celebration "Yountville Live" runs Thursday through Sunday at various venues in Napa Valley.

YOUNTVILLE - Yountville's second annual food, wine and music celebration "Yountville Live" runs Thursday through Sunday at various venues in Napa Valley.

Musical entertainment includes The Goo Goo Dolls, Plain White T's, American Idol winner Kris Allen and singer, producer and songwriter Mayer Hawthorne.

"With Live in the Vineyard founders as partners, we combine the unique access to the finest musical talent and bring ther model of intimate, stripped-down acoustic sets to the Yountville Live experience," said Joe Fisher, Yountville Live partner.

The event presented by Volvo features dozens of renowned chefs, vintners, Napa Valley wines and restaurants.

Passes for Yountville Live are extremely limited. Prices range from $75 for single events to $1,095 for the all-access VIP Pass.

"Eight at Eight" dinners with expertly coursed menus paired with Napa Valley wines and prominent chefs feature acoustic performances by up and coming artists at six venues Thursday.

Day two features a Red Carpet Gala with globally recognized music, wine and food.

Day three includes Taste of Yountville between noon and 5 p.m. at local boutiques, chefs' demonstrations, garden tours and live entertainment at locations throughout Yountville. VIP pass holders can attend an after hours party at Bottega Restaurant.

Day four features champagne brunch, soul food and soul music at Bubbles Brunch. Information about tickets and events is available at www.yountvillelive.com.
