6 Ducklings Rescued In Newark

NEWARK, CA — Six tiny ducklings were reunited with their nervous mother on Tuesday after they tumbled into a storm drain on Potrero Drive in Newark.

Alfred Bruckner supplied these photos. He tells Patch, "Alameda County Fire Dept., Newark P.D. and Newark Public Works worked to free 6 ducklings from a storm drain while mom quakes in distress."

Judging by the last photo, it all ended well for the ducklings and their momma.
