Child Sexually Molested By Nanny's Boyfriend: District Attorney
The victim was between 5 and 8-years-old and "particularly vulnerable" when the abuse happened.
ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — An Alameda County jury has convicted a man, Juan Carpio-Perdomo, of three counts of committing a lewd act upon a child, according to the Alameda County District Attorney's Office. Carpio-Perdomo was the boyfriend of the victim's nanny.
The boy was between 5 and 8 years old when the abuse happened. He is now 16. He confided the abuse to his parents when he was 13.
The boy's identity and the city where he lived when the abuse took place was not disclosed by the DA's office.

According to a release from the DA's Office, "Under the guise of putting him to bed, the defendant got into bed with the boy and touched him and had the victim touch him in a lewd and lascivious manner."
The Court found aggravating factors that the defendant was in a position of trust and that the victim was particularly vulnerable.

Carpio-Perdomo is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 9.
