Community to Hold Candlelight Vigil For Fire Victims

The family of Christian Haro, a Vallemar School eighth grader, have invited the community from several Pacifica schools to a candlelight vigil for the young man and his great grandfather, who died in a . 

The vigil is scheduled for 8 p.m. tonight in front of the house at 552 Inverness Drive, Pacifica. 

The invitation, sent out to school parents today, says that the family's immediate needs have been addressed by the Red Cross, but that the PTO will be coordinating additional efforts to help the family.

But Vallemar wasn't the only school impacted by the tragedy. 

"Four of the family members who escaped the home are students at Sunset Ridge and the Sunset Ridge PTA is also in the process of coordinating additional services for the family," the invitation states.
