Donald Trump is Coming to the Bay Area
Will you head to the Peninsula for his speech or to protest, Newark?

Donald Trump is about to kick off his campaigning here in California, and his first stop is on the San Francisco Peninsula.
The California Republican Party announced Wednesday that Trump has been selected to give the keynote speech at the CAGOP 2016 Convention Kickoff Lunch Banquet on Friday, April 29.
"I look forward to being with the great people of California and sharing my vision to Make America Great Again," Trump said in a news release announcing the appearance.
The convention runs from April 29 to May 1 at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport, at 1333 Old Bayshore Highway in Burlingame.
”This is the most exciting Republican Presidential primary California has seen in generations, and we are happy that our delegates – the grassroots leaders of our party – will have the chance to hear from all of our candidates at our convention, starting off with Donald Trump at our Friday Convention kickoff lunch,” said California Republican Party Vice Chair Harmeet K. Dhillon. “This nomination may be decided in California, and what better place for party leaders to hear first-hand the different visions for the future of America, than at our party convention.”
The other two contenders in the race for the Republican bid, Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, will also give speeches during the convention.
