Duo Suspected In 4 Burglaries Sought By Fremont Police

The two are linked to break-ins at a restaurant, nail salon, dry cleaner and gas station in the area, police said.

FREMONT, CA - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a pair of suspects who burglarized several Fremont businesses on early Tuesday morning.

Surveillance footage helped link two suspects to four instances of commercial burglary that occurred starting at around 2 a.m. Tuesday, according to police.

At 1:58 a.m., the suspects broke a window and gained entry to a restaurant in the 1500 block of Washington Boulevard, police said. They apparently took a change machine and left.

On the same block, a nail salon was broken into in the same manner, police said. The suspects conducted a search that left a mess but the break-in resulted in no reported losses.

Once again in the same block, the suspects apparently attempted to break into a dry cleaning business through the window but were unsuccessful, police said.

At 2:13 a.m., officers received reports of another burglary at a gas station in the 43600 block of South Grimmer Boulevard, according to police. This time, the suspects gained entry through a glass door they shattered, police said. The reported loss was around $2,500 in cigarettes.

The duo suspected in all of these cases was driving a vehicle described by police as a white 1990s Lexus four-door sedan with beige trim.

One suspect was described as being a white man in his 30s with a heavy build, police said. He was reportedly wearing a black cap with white writing, a black T-shirt, black gloves, beige pants and a red scarf covering his face.

Police describe the other suspect as a man with a slim to average build, a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans, black gloves and a black facemask.
