This weekend, Playing at Learning presents the FIRST LEGO League Championship at Newark Memorial. Competitors, ages 9 to 14, design and build robots from the LEGO Mindstorms robotics kit. The teams use their autonomous robot creations to navigate an obstacle course that demonstrates real-world challenges faced by scientists and engineers. This year’s theme focuses on biomedical engineering.
